He is a good QB, but i think that the packers need to invest in going to the SB before Favre retires one more time. I thought they should of gone for a player on defense

Not worth arguing but yea I am pretty sure they did. Favre said something before the draft. I remember Chris Berman saying he gets to learn behind Brett Favre. Yea they already new.

they had too many needs on defense to pick Rodgers. They need to think about winning a SB before the favre era ends.

I don't, I have my doubts about Rodgers, but there really wren't any super Defensive players left when it was our pick, maybe Marlin Jackson and Brodney Poole, but other than them not much. I wish they traded down to get a top pick in the second plus a third and then took, Poole, Collins, and Frye.

u know what at 24 Rodgers was clearly a steal. I mean u cant pass up a guy who could have easily gone top 10. At 24 they had to take him. They need a guy for after favre and Rodgers could definatly be that guy. Give him a chance they are probably overwhelming him right now with new mechanics and hes gotta learn everything almost over again. In a couple years when Favre retires and Rodgers is still an issue then u have a problem. But right now i see no problem since hes not gonna be playing this season or next.

Yea I am more mad at the Terrance Murphy pick than Rodgers. Now Green Bay has a guy for the future. Chad Pennington sat for 2 or 3 years and he has turned out good. I hope Rodges sits for this year and next year and if we're beating a team badly play him the 4th quarter. He's looked impressive in practice but I'd like to see him do well in a preseason game.

I think Rodgers needs more time to learn the offense and he needs to work on his mechanics. I think the way he holds the ball is a big reason that he keeps throwing his passes so low.

Darrell Bevell needs to do something to start addressing that.

Well we finished 25th last year and still WON the divsion. What makes you so sure that the Pack will drop to nothing this year.

Bears fans predict Packer destruction every year. I guess if they do it long enough, eventually they'll be right. Probably not this year, though.

As does the media, how many times over the last 3 years have the Vikings been division champs and Superbowl competitors?
