Just wondering, what do you guys think about Desean Jackson and how do you think his game will translate to the next level? He was a very explosive player in college, and I believe one of the runners for the Heisman trophy. His only downside is his size. He doesn't have the best size, and many believe he will struggle because of it. But do you guys think that he could use his speed to his advantage and make up for the size disadvantage? Could he become a Steve Smith type of player? Also, taking into account guys like Devin Hester and Ted Ginn Jr, where would you guys rank him in regards to KR/PR? Personally, I'm loving this pick. I don't really know what to expect out of him receiving wise, but I do expect him to contribute and improve our special teams tremendously. No more Reno Mahe 5 yard returns Also, any info on Trevor Laws would be appreciated as well. I honestly know nothing about this guy. And ND fans here?
I like it helps in the return game if nothing else. DeSean & the trade w/ Miami for Lorenzo Booker gives them 2 young speedy players.
He is terrifying in open space. The Eagles are a team that will get the most out of an undersized player like this. I doubt he will ever be more than a third WR, but so what? Devin Hester doesn't even have a position and he's his team's MVP. Jackson has the potential to make that kind of impact if he's used properly.
