After plummeting nearly to the ground with injuries a month ago, the Hornets seem to have picked themselves up and won 3 in a row. Only 1 1/2 games behind the Kings. I know the Kings just won 3 in a row on the road, but the Hornets are showing alot of heart and not much quit. The Hornets really need to keep Claxton next year. I hope he will want to play in New Orleans.
Sure, Paul is the franchise; but when he rests the pressure doesn't let up with Speedy. Paul got a triple double tonight: 23, 12 and 12.

It's amazing that they are so close given their lack of talent and now their injury woes.

It's a testament to both Chris Paul and just what hard work can do for a franchise.

I'm really rooting for the Hornets to sneak into the playoffs this year. They are one of those teams you just have to love.

Id love to see the Hornets in the playoffs over the Lakers but I think the only way the Hornets will get into the playoffs is when Sacramento goes on a losing streak.

    <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Martin:</div><div class="quote_post">when Sacramento goes on a losing streak.</div>

They lost tonight and have away games against both San Antonio and the Clippers in the next two, plus a date with Phoenix.

Including tonights game i see them going 1-4 in this stretch (the one win being against Houston).
