<span class="titolo">Tiago: Play Me Or I Will Leave In January</span></p> <span class="sommario">Juventus flop Tiago Mendes has admitted he is unhappy at the club and could leave during the January transfer window if he does not get more playing time.</span></p> The Portuguese midfielder was Juventus’ most expensive acquisition for the new season as the Bianconeri forked out £9.2m for the Lyon man. </p> Tiago was expected to provide the Juventus midfield with some much-needed power after the loss of Patrick Vieira and Emerson in 2006. </p> However the ex-Chelsea man has been a complete disaster in Turin and after making just one Serie A start this campaign, he has been continuously linked with an exit away from the Stadio Olimpico.</p> “If things carry on like this I’ll leave in January,” Tiago warned.“I’ve spoken to Ranieri and told him that I’m not happy because this isn’t what I came here for.</p> “So far my time with Juve has been a disappointment. I thought I’d be a first-choice player, but it has been the exact opposite and my time here hasn’t been easy.</p> “Initially I admit that I felt tired, but I got back into shape by the time the season started and the boss has still preferred other players.”</p> Tiago is likely to be on the bench again during Sunday evening’s Serie A match with Genoa.</p> </p> </p>
