Tiger Woods will play his first tournament outside of the United States this year in a charity pro-am in Ireland.

Tournament officials say Woods has agreed to play July 5-6 in the event organized by Irish businessman and racehorse owner J.P. McManus.

The 36-hole pro-am will be held at Adare Manor, a former Irish Open venue, the week before the British Open at St. Andrews.
