You know I am, and Reppin grab the avy that me and SunnyD got too. It is still a little early to call the World Series, but the feel around the whole state about the Tigers is that they are destined to win.A cool thing that my town (Kentwood MI represent!) is doing is playing the game in the movie theatre in the biggest room. It is sweet, I am going on Friday and I am excited to be able to watch the Tigers will all of those Tiger fans. Tiger fever is taking over the whole state and I love it!
Yeah man I know its early - thats why its a rally thread. lol So Yeah, hopefully they do make it.and if you think Kentwood is crazy, check out Detroit! They are nuts during Tigers games.
I was expecting the A's to win the first game but the Tigers to win the series. Now I expect the Tigers to win in 5 and a sweep is very possible. I don't see the Mets or Cardinals putting up much of a fight in the World Series either. Congrats....

Tigers have a lot of heart this season. Not too many people give them credit for it. Jim Leyland symbolizes Jesus, and he is in the heart.This Tiger bandwagon is getting crowded, good thing fans like PF11, Reppin and I stay true through and through.I'll get a Tiger sig.
I honestly was going to count them out against Yankees (not that I wanted to) and I never expected world series bound. jim leyland has made an even bigger name for himself.. and how about that one guy who got 4 rbi's and never plays? wat a postseason debut ey?
I got a feeling back when they won beat the Yanks in 4 that they were the team of dystany. Got this feeling back about the Marlins back when they won the world series as well. I think they have all the momentum and will beat either the Cards or Mets in the world series.
I agree with pjcolpitts? once the tigers beat the yankees I thought they would win the WS, I mean they have all the momentum in the world and even though I'm a yankee fan I am pulling for the tigers. People might not think this but the turning point in this tigers season was probaly coming back to beat the yankees after damon hit that 3 run homer.

I heard Peter Gammons had them winning the Wild Card or something along those lines at the beginning of the season. That's pretty impressive.
