    Judge #21 makes it 1-0.

Judge hits his 21st of the season, and his very first HR in his career, when leading off to start a game.

So when will Yankee management place Gallo on assignment? He leads the majors in Ks. He must go. 3 Ks today….and counting.

Tiger rookie pitcher pitched well. 2 mistakes. He surely lowered his 6.35 ERA

Andujar demoted and asks for trade. Why the hell aren’t Yankees dfa ing gallo who sucks ass and making andujar the regular LF as he’s the 2nd best hitter on the team right now after judge. Just a ridiculous sequence of events! Wake up cashman!

I said this last year and was poo-pooed by some on this board about Gallo. He’s a shitty player. He shouldn’t be in the majors on ANY team, let alone a team that has World Series aspirations. The fact we sent down Andujar over Gallo speaks volumes of how this team wins despite incompetence. I don’t care if sending Gallo down puts him on waivers. Ain’t nobody taking him, and if they do, GOOD RIDDANCE!!!! He’s a fucking hack. I wish I remembered and cared enough to look up who it was that gave me shit when I called out how terrible Gallo was last year so tell them I told you so but we ALL see it and I’m sure whomever it was is now on board with get Gallo the fuck off this team.

Knowing Trashman, Andújar is in the Yankee doghouse. And he should not be.
He, Andújar, is so much better than having Gallo on this team. Total incompetence
    on Trashman’s part!

At some point Trashman has to realize we need to eat Gallo’s contract and just get him out of here. Eat the whole fucking thing. Who cares? The black hole he creates will destroy this team in October. Just watch and see. Hopefully he isn’t here by then but I don’t have confidence in Trashman to fix this mistake.

There's waiting for a guy and there's who hasn't been a major league player for a third of the season. The man has 7 RBIs, strikes out 40% of the time and has a negative WAR.

Not to be a broken record, but for the umpteenth time, Gallo is another one of those players who could be so much more valuable if he'd simply cut down on his swing.

Can't remember the poster who I confronted about Gallo, but I was going on the info I had at the time and Gallo has never been as bad as he's been in NY. He was never as bad when he was with Tejas...the sirens of NY's short RF porch has ruined many a player...and there have many many players who simply could not handle the pressure of playing in NY...maybe Gallo is another one of them.

...whoever the poster was, I will admit that he was right and I was wrong about Gallo.

He either can't or absolutely refuses. If you remember Chris Davis it's like watching the same thing.

I blame Gallo, Boone, and the batting coach for that...pregame batting practice generally includes hitting a few balls the other way...Boone should insist on this and the batting coach should reinforce it...but, ultimately it's up to the player to utilize this drill from practice and apply it to real game decisions.

The fact is, that too many players are so selfish and could care less about the TEAM...they are concentrating on "launch angles" instead of simply making contact in certain situations. Making contact can often move a runner over or even score a runner...but a strike out doesn't do either.

...how about replacing Gallo with,......wait for it....wait....wait...Andrew Benintendi?

I always liked him, even when he was in Bahston...he's a "real ball player" and he can be had for next to nothing..

Bumping this because I still think it's still a distinct possibility...Andrew Benintendi is exactly the type player we need.
