<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The bad: Wide receiver Tim Brown broke his hand during today's scrimmage and will be out 4-6 weeks. He suffered the injury on a spectacular play where he quickly adjusted to a tipped ball in the end zone and needed a full extension of 5-foot-8 frame to haul in the pass for a touchdown. After the play, he sat on the benches isolated from the rest of his team with his head down.</p> Some of the other receivers walked by and patted him on the head, offering words of encouragement.</p> "He was real quiet, really down on himself like he messed up ... I told him to keep his head up because it wasn't like it was a play he messed up," wide receiver Kenny Britt said. "He was being a playmaker, it just happens, this is football. I told him that we could handle it and it's not like you're gonna lose your spot or anything."</div></p> </p>Link
Supposedly, there's a chance Tim may play on Thursday. He was catching balls today, albeit with his cast on.
Are they playing Buffalo this thursday? I can't remember the schedule. I doubt he can be that effective with a cast on, but he's a speed specialist so we'll see.
