<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Duncan sprained his right ankle less than four minutes into the second half. Though he did not return after being helped off the court, the injury was classified as a grade 1 sprain, the least serious. X-rays were negative, and team officials said the ankle was stable. Duncan, who missed two games after spraining the same ankle last month, is considered day-to-day, though coach Gregg Popovich doesn't expect him to play Tuesday against New Jersey. Duncan's teammates had reason to fear the worst after he landed on Rasho Nesterovic's foot while trying to corral a rebound under Utah's basket. He immediately grabbed his right foot and looked to be in significant pain. Robinson missed the remainder of the 1996-97 season after breaking his foot. The Spurs hope Duncan won't be sidelined more than a week. </div> Express-News Staff Writer That looked really bad when he went down and listed as day to day is alot better than what It could of been.
I think Tim will be just fine even if he does miss these next two games. Rasho has to learn how to back up or step aside when Tim's coming down though! This is the second time he's landed on Rasho's foot and hurt himself. Let's hope that stuff doesn't happen with Nazr, if he ever starts playing for the Spurs that is. The rest of the Spurs will be okay too, especially if they can get one of the two without him. Go Manu!
It remains to be seen when Nazr will be 100% heathly again. Pop said he doesn't plan on playing him until he is.
