Duncan had some lingering soreness in his knee after playing 15 minutes in Wednesday's victory over the Los Angeles Clippers. Though Spurs officials did not think the soreness was unusual, they had Duncan undergo another MRI this morning. Fluid was injected into Duncan's knee as part of the test, which will prevent him from playing against the Warriors, team officials said.

The Spurs hope to have the test results later today. Duncan is expected to fly to Sacramento with the team after tonight's game. Team officials called his status for Sunday afternoon's game against the Kings "day to day."
