Yea, i guessed he figured out that he's there for his expiring contract. Who would want TT, when no1 even wants Sprewell. Theyre both trouble-makers and one of them is an underachiever who has been a huge disapointment. This was gonna happen sooner or later.

Does anyone really care? Tim Thomas is a girl who should be playing the developmental league right now, or better yet the WNBA not the NBA. Skiles is trying to teach him how to live up to his potential, and have some work ethic how does he embrace the challenge by asking for a trade. It is ok though we where only keeping him on the roster due to his contract. I only see him leaving for a high first round pick or other expiring contracts.

It's not a waste of time for the organization. He's giving them TONS of cap space come the end of the year. Sure, he doesn't play, but really, who here thinks the Bulls brought him over to be an integral part of their lineup? I don't.

It's not really a rule, but the league made it a point they won't tolerate a player refusing to report to a team. As far as Tim Thomas is concerned, he should do everyone a favor and retire.

There is no reasonable excuse for the Bulls to trade Tim thomas right now. Hang on, get his cap space, and spend it on someone useful.

Thomas, who said Monday he believes the Bulls want to trade him, probably isn't going anywhere soon. Bulls general manager John Paxson has said he has not spoken to any team regarding any Bulls player.

Nevertheless, Thomas believes eventually he will be dealt and said he prefers to move on immediately. Thomas started in 68 of the 71 games he played for the Knicks last season. Still, Skiles said he is puzzled by the attention Thomas' lack of playing time has drawn.

"I find it a little bit odd that we're focusing so much on this situation," Skiles said.

    Goodbye Tim.

If he busted his ass, came to practice, came into camp healthy, cared about his game, got into the paint more knowing the Bulls are desperate for in-the-paint scoring... but no, instead he barely shows up to camp, injuried, out of shape, doing his usually floaty dance around the 3 point line until somebody can pass him the ball... THEN I WOULD FEEL BAD, but in this case, good-bye, we don't need that type of attitude on our team.

i cant believe he's saying this. he should just sit down and behave and do what the coaches say. he obviously isnt the franchise player that he thinks he is. this guy came into the league with a ton of potential, but that's all he had. potential. he never really lived up to it, or worked very hard to get it, and now he's almost 30. this guy is and will always be a huge bust.
