    Wolves 92 Blazers 84

Another great win for the Wolves! We hopefully can really start to get some momentum and win some ball games. We were once again led by the hot shooting Latrell Sprewell and Troy Hudson. Also, Eddie Griffin gave us 18 rebounds, five of them offensive.

Flip better not change that starting five, because something is obviously working. Having Carter and Hassell in there just seems right.

Pure's MVP- Eddie Griffin Six points, eighteen rebounds, four blocked shots, three assists.

    Go Wolves!

That's a good way of saying it.

Thanks for the breakdown of the game, Pure. Well done.

Good to see the good guys win again. To win back-to-back tonight is pretty darn good. I am glad the Wolves showed some heart and energy out there. After a rough week, it's good to finish the week with two wins and two losses.

Good to see Latrell play WELL again. He did not need to be booed to perform tonight. Maybe this trade talk may have spurred him. Time will tell. Whatever it is, it's good to see him play well back-to-back. He set the tone with his energy out there.

    Troy was huge.

    Anthony Carter was solid.

Nice to see Eddie Griffin finally show up. I hope he can bottled that performance tonight. That was awesome.

Looks like this lineup is going to stick for awhile.

On a sidenote, how sad are the Blazers. Just 4 years ago, they blew a chance to go to the Finals by choking against the Lakers in Game 7 with a 34-point lead I believe. They have never recovered since that game and that franchise has gotten worse each passing game. It's a sad story and their fans deserve better than the product they got. Rasheed Wallace was thought to be a problem, but he is no longer there anymore and they still stink.

Good win and it was nice to finish a rough week with a pair of wins as they break even. Hopefully, this team will kick in gear. I will start getting excited when they win 5 in a row. 2 in a row is a start.

Back to back wins, on the road? Wow, this is very nice. We are one of the worst road teams in the league, and winning two on the road back to back is very helpful. Yes, the Blazers are a pretty bad team, but still, a win is a win and we need them badly right now.

Keep in mind fellas, the game may have been a lot closer if they were with Rahim, Randolph, and Miles. The Blazers went with a 4 guard lineup for a while so winning the rebounding matchup was pretty easy for us. Patterson is the only one doing good for them.

Nonetheless, good win for the T-Wolves.

Very true, Portland had way too many injuries for us to feel good about winning that game. They essentially had to rely on Joel Pryzbilla to try to stop Griffin and Garnett, and that wasn't happening.

A win is a win, but that was a very depleted Portland team.

The Wolves will get it together eventually. A few confidence booster wins, even against depleted teams, might be what they need to get it going.

I still think they have a shot at the championship this year. They still have as much talent on the team as anyone else, they just need to get the right combination of talent together at the right times, and then get in the right mindset. Its a long season for Flip to figure out the lineups, and once they make it to the playoffs, they will be in the right mindset.

It was good to see Latrell and Troy perform an encore as they came up big in the fourth quarter with some big shots.

Eddie Griffin was fantastic in that game.

CUSA: It was not a back-to-back win on the road. Wolves played that game against Portland at home.
