It's the same ol' same ol'. Whatever I say about the Timberwolves when they lose is basically the same thing I am going to say tonight. They played horrible as usual when they lose tonight. Tonight is no different than it was when they were losing games in recent weeks.

The offense had no identity in the second and third quarter tonight. I was happy that they did lot of passing, but it seemed they could not find the open guy. They missed shots and some of the shots was nowhere close. They turned over the ball a lot. There were lot of miscommunication. When was the last time the Wolves ran a fastbreak offense via defense? It seems forever. The offense turned it around in the fourth in which at one point the Wolves led, but then they faltered down the strech.

What has happened to KG? He has been struggling lately. He has to snap out of it. I don't know if he is not getting the ball much or what. He is not playing well to his standards. This also goes for Eddie Griffin.

The defense did okay, but they have allowed too many second chance points during the losing streak. Knicks had too many second chances tonight. Marbury basically abused his counterparts all night long as he took advantage of his counterparts old legs. His counterparts could not keep up to him.

The bottom line right now is that the Wolves stink. This team is nowhere close to last year. I am tired of this. I am starting to wonder how good they really are. Great teams don't lose to the Knicks. At some point, you can't use this card where these guys are bored with regular season and all. What you are seeing is what you are getting right now.

Okay, I didn't watch the game, but I am going to give some harsh oppinions.

The Wolves are playing horrible basketball right now. In no way are we one of the top Western Conference teams, and we're just struggling. Yes, we are struggling, but I now truely think they're are a couple teams better than us.

It is definately time for us to make some changes. We need to get some players that actually want to win! Cassell and Sprewell have been disgusting this year, I don't even want to go in depth talking about their horrible play. This was said on NBA Tonight:

The Wolves must get some players along with Kevin Garnett, that actually care about winning!

    Amen!

Well, I dont know about Sprewell cause his comments about he dont care if the Wolves win a championship leave something to be desired. But to say that KG doesnt have players alongside him that care about winnning is far from the truth. I think everybody including KG shoulders alot of the blame in the timberwolves struggles.

Marbury chewed up Cassell, Hassell, & Carter last night. But ask yourself where was the help from the bigs(including KG), it was non-existent. No big step up to double or even fake the double in the pick & roll situation. And Steph was allowed to dribble the basketball serve the defense. And basically play one on one all night from the top. Nobody in this league can guard Steph one on one when you allow him to pound the rock all night off the dribble. Cassell defense has been horrible alot this season, but so has the help defense from the bigs.

offensively they all stunk, Cassell took alot of quick shots, Spree took alot of quick shots and way too many shots. And he had alot of turnovers in the first half trying to do too much cause he was back at the garden. And KG stood way to much out on the perimeter as Kurt Thomas was extremely phsyical with him early and pushed him out of the lane. And when KG gets pushed out of the lane early as usual he starts to settle for alot of 16 footers.

What has happened to Trenton Hassell? He has not played well at all this month. He is getting beat on defense time after time and he is just not shooting well. Mebury basically owned Trenton last night which is unheard of. Trenton normally shut guys like Mebury down.

It's hard to make trades in the middle of the season. I am not sure if any team wants what the Wolves have at this point.

I saw the Heat/Pistons game on TNT tonight. When I watch the game, I marveled at the way both teams were passing the ball and running their offense. Miami really did a good job finding the open guy and man they were scoring a lot from the paint. What a concept, eh. Both things that the Timberwolves can't even do right now. When I saw the Heat tonight, I just thought that's what the Timberwolves used to do last year.

I am hoping that Flip can record this game and show his guys how that's done. This team is more than capable of doing that.

That is because his defense isnt always as effective once a guy is already hot. Marbury was killing the Wolves for the 1st 3 quarters before Flip decided to put Trenton on him in the 4th. I think if Flip would have had him on Marbury earlier in the game he could have done a better job controlling Marbury, the problem is you cant find those consistent minutes for Trenton Hassell when Spree & Wally are both on the court so much.
