Holy crap the Wolves actually won.

What's even amazing is that the Timberwolves actually played great down the strech and the fact Latrell actually played great as he was huge in the fourth quarter. WOW!

What's amazing the Latrell doing well or the Timberwolves winning?

I am speechless and I am glad the Wolves won.

Let's see if they can win two in a row now.

Yes we won, and as I can see our expecations are pretty low at the moment. We one now all four games against Portland this season, something we never achieved before. Unfortunately, we don't play again against them.

One thing so, even though Nick was the only one hitting threes, he shot 7 of 11 from behind the arc, was he just hot or was our perimeter defense against him this bad (he only shot 1 of 7 other field goals) ?

Moving on, our next game is against GSW, they lost against Detroit but you can tell from the box score that Davis wasn't yet comfortable with the offense.

Maybe this is the start of our playoff rush/push, whatever. So, don't rule them out yet.

No, I don't think this is the start of our playoff push. Injuries are hurting us right now. It's only one win. We went on a five game win streak earlier and we all thought our season was turning around, yet, right after, we went back to our losing ways. Let's face it, we're too inconsistent this season to make the playoffs. We suck on the road, and overall, we have just been playing some horrible basketball. You could have saw this win coming since we've tooken every game this season previous to this game against the Blazers. I just don't think we don't have what it takes this season to make the playoffs. No one seems to want to play anymore. Garnett is the only one wanting to play to win, he hates losing, but the win attitude for the other players just isn't there.

I know that we havn't been winning much, so this win feels good, but I think we get a little too excited about a win. We seem to optimistic after one win, thinking our entire season will turn around, but let's face it, it's not. The Timberwolves will continue the disapointments, with an occasional win here or there.

Maybe, I should have added :sarcasm:

I nearly completely agree with you, except for one. Sprewell, he wants a new contract and he's playing for it, since McHale took over, he's playing a bit better. Right now, he's not worth what he demands, not even close to it. So I guess he wants to prove that, since he wasn't traded he needs to prove it with us, I think he was hoping to be traded.

the T-wolves played well in this game. effort and desire was there. yet, looking at this season, we are one of the most inconsitent teams in the league, and i wonder if we are going to play badly in the next game against GSW.
CUSA fan is right, sure the win feels great, but who knows when will the t-wolves lose their focus again? it always seems we win a game, get complacent, then slack off on the next few, before playing another good game.

The team self hatred in this forum is getting kind of old. We all know its been a dissappointing year. Anyway the Wolves have some favorable games coming up over their next 6 games. They have to come out of this 6 game stretch looking impressive if they want to make the playoffs. I think they can make up some ground if they take these next 6 games one at a time. Golden State, Bucks in minny, Boston all winnable games for the Wolves.

Oh stop with the fan etiquette. If the posters here want to vent or be negative about the Timberwolves, they have every right to when the team stinks. Isn't that what the message board is all about? This year has been a disaster. Fans have every right to savage guys like your boy Cassell, Spreewell, Olowokandi, and Hudson. This team has been unwatchable all year. Some of the players don't give a crap and it shows. The way Cassell and Spreewell has conducted themselves this year has been a disgrace. I can understand fans frustration on this team and I know I am very frustrated. I have been ticked off with this team all year long.
It hasn't been fun to watch.

I love the Timberwolves of all my heart. These losses has been painful. You think I am having fun ripping this team all year? If you think that's the case, then you don't know me. I hate it when they lose and I hate talking about the lack of effort and the losses. I hate describing it. I get very angry when the Timberwolves lose. I am in a sh!tty mood when the Wolves lose. It bothers me when they lose. I love the Timberwolves. They are bigger than life in my world. You should have saw me last year. I was so optimistic on the Wolves. I did lot of cheerleading for them. I would rave about them like a lunatic last year. I was so happy just talking about them all year. Unfortuntately, that's not the case this year. It hurts. Don't think I am having fun ripping them.

I am calling like I see it. I am not going to be a shill like those MSG Network announcers when they praise the Knicks all the time. If I feel like ripping them, I will rip them. It's that simple. This team deserves it.

If you don't like it, you don't have to read it or you can ban me or any other critics. I am going to be who I am. I or any posters don't have to apologize for ripping the team.

P.S. The Wolves go 3-3 in the next 6 games.
