Is it too soon to start wanting a coaching change? Most boards i have visited are calling for his head.

Not quite yet... he has made a few mistakes this season... (i.e. sitting Sprewell and Cassell at the same time)... but Saundars hasnt had a chance to work this much talent before...

Solid coach, had a slow start meshing things together last year... Id give him more time.

Who exactly could replace him? Isiah Thomas? Doug Collins? C'mon....Saunders has done one hell of a job in his time at the Wolves. Now just because his team has started 5-5 he should go? If your record was say 1-9 then you might have a case.At least wait for the Wolves to have a heathly team before making a judgement like this.

Just looked at your record at the start of last season. You started out 7-6 and 15-13..hardly great but Saunders and the Wolves turned it around to win 50 games. It's not how you start the season It's how you finish.

You can't get rid of Saunders. He is one of the best coaches in the game today, why give that up? Once we have everyone here, we will be solid and everyone will wonder why we would even consider getting rid of Flip.

Is this a joke? Flip is a great coach, and the Minnesotans love him!

People in Minnesota, sports radio, Timberwolves message boards are calling for his head. They are throwing out names like, Rudy T, Riley, Thomas, Collins and others as a replacment for McFlip. I would LOVE to have either Rudy T or Riley as a coach. Both have experience coaching hall of famer bigmen and both have won titles.

Riley is the general manager at the Heat that won't change..So he shouldn't an option.Rudy has had health problems and as far as I know is some working for the Rockets in the office...People really need to think for a second when talking about Flip being fired..It would be a huge mistake.Thomas and Collins are horrible coaches...You will do worse without Flip than with him.

This is retarded. We have a ton of new guys on the roster trying to learn a new offense and work together, and firing Flip is the answer? [IMG] :thumbsdow

And a NEW COACH and a NEW OFFENSE would just slide right in and everything would be a-ok. THINK before you run your piehole, people. Spree isn't healthy...Hudson and Wally are out with injuries......it's GAME 12 (?) in a freaking 82 game season!!

The same people who want Flip fired are no doubt the same people who want to trade Daunte Culpepper..........people who wouldn't undertand sports if they had a Master's degree in common sense.
