"The biggest unknown in Raptorland remains a mystery, a domino that has the potential to alter the course of the franchise for years to follow.

It was inevitable as it was unavoidable the moment Chris Bosh decided not to accept an extension or the time when the Raptors could have moved the face of the franchise but resisted.

As GM Bryan Colangelo made himself available to the local media for the last time until he emerges sometime during Thursday night's NBA draft, he admitted that there's no clarity to the Bosh situation, that he's just as uncertain about Bosh's future as he has ever been and that virtually anything is possible in the coming days and weeks, perhaps even months.

The Raptors knew this day was coming and were preparing, pouring over scenarios that included Bosh on their roster and scenarios that precluded CB4.

Bosh holds all the cards, capable of leaving Toronto on his own without the help of the franchise or aiding the club in a sign and trade that will fetch the Raptors something.

The last time Bosh spoke was during a radio interview he granted with an ESPN station based in L.A. last week.

He's scheduled to appear on a radio/TV simulcast Thursday morning on the network, at which time he's expected to repeat what he has been saying all along in the prelude to July 1, which is to say that he's keeping all options open and that he's yet to decide on his future."
