Time for Schneider to shine

    I think this goes a long way into deciding what their defense will look like next year. I don’t think Trouba has had one huge hit this season. He had like 8 last year. I don’t know how they would trade Trouba as he’s the captain but if Schneider looks great in the top four and has a big playoffs, anything as possible. His asinine no movement clause ends next season, and it’s a limited, no trade clause.

    Schneider has been a mess defensively and hits just as much as Miller who is equally a disaster on D at times. Its time for both of them to shine.

    Schneider has not been good this season. You can list any reasons you want, but that's the reality of it. I am also not saying he can't/won't get better; he is still young and learning, but so far right now this season he has not lived up to expectations.
