"The NFL fined Titans cornerback Cortland Finnegan $10,000 on Friday and warned him that future infractions like the one he committed Sunday against the Broncos could result in "increased disciplinary action.'' It's the third week in a row Finnegan has been fined. Through four games, Titans defenders have been fined $62,500, including $20,000 for Finnegan. Counting defensive coordinator Chuck Cecil's $40,000 fine for an obscene gesture against the Broncos, the total is $102,500. Finnegan's latest fine was for a play involving Broncos offensive lineman Chris Kuper, whose helmet came off. In remarks after the game, Broncos quarterback Kyle Orton said Finnegan had punched Kuper. Orton also called the fifth-year pro a "dirty" player. Finnegan declined to comment Friday. Earlier, he denied anything out of the ordinary against the Broncos or Kuper. Finnegan was not flagged on the play." http://www.tennessean.com/article/2...46/2162/NFL hands warning to Titans Finnegan
