Tennessee Titans general manager Mike Reinfeldt has received a multiyear contract extension, the Tennessean reported Sunday.

The newspaper, which cited unnamed sources, didn't report the exact terms of the extension.

Reinfeldt's contract was set to expire after this season. He was hired to replace Floyd Reese in 2007 and is responsible for drafting star running back Chris Johnson (2008) and safety Michael Griffin (2007). The 2011 draft will be Reinfeldt's first in Tennessee without longtime Titans coach Jeff Fisher, who was replaced by Mike Munchak this offseason.
