<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">McGrady is back on MVP track By LZ Granderson Page 2 With the clock near zero, Tracy McGrady took the rock, jumped up into his flawless form, and released a jumper so pretty the nets didn't want to let go. The crowd roared as McGrady high-fived fans in the front row, smiling so hard I'm positive he had to ice his face after the game. It was only the end of the third quarter, but the score was 82-52. McGrady had just scored his 32nd point and Rockets coach Jeff Van Gundy mercifully kept his top dog on the bench in the fourth quarter of a recent win over the Timberwolves. "I'm just out there having fun," McGrady says. "I'm feeling healthy and I know my team needs me to do certain things to win and I'm just trying to do all that I can to make sure that happens." </div> http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story...ht&lid=tab6pos2
Nice find Dream. It's good to hear something positive come out of T-Macs mouth for a change. Im glad he's happy now.
It's great for him. Too bad that the Rockets are in the West. I really hope that he gets his ring before he leaves the league. He has only the Most Improved Player award so far.
^I wouldn't want that award going to T-Mac. It would be a disgrace in my eyes. He was going through injuries and personal problems last season.

Hence, he wants him to win a ring.
Oh, my mistake. Edit: I don't see how he didn't get the MVP in 03 when he was scoring champ. He averaged 32ppg on 46% shooting. He's the first to average above 30 if I'm not mistaken, and that was before all these new rules such as hand checks began being called.

They were only 42-40. The MVP is usually given out to a player in the top 3 seeds in the conference
