<span style="font-size:10pt;line-height:100%">To much rest, may turn the Cavaliers into rust</span>Written by CavsRules(Russell Williams, Cavs24/7 Staff) Friday, 04 May 2007[IMG]<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The last time the Cavaliers played a game was Monday night in Washington D.C against the Washington Wizards and they completed the sweep for the first time in history. Since then, the Cavaliers have been having lots of off days, today is Friday and the last time they played was four days ago and still counting.Rest is always a great thing to have, but the Cleveland Cavaliers could lose a few steps due to, to much rest? "You sit out too long there's a chance you can get some rust,'' Brown said. "That's part of the reason we brought them in today, just to smell the gym and get a taste of it. With time off, especially this time of year, you never really know where that fine line is.''"Hopefully Toronto will win again,'' James said with a smile, "and we'll get a little bit more rest.'' Toronto did indeed win that game and are now heading back to New Jersey for game six of the their first round. With a Nets win, they would go on to the second round to meet the Cleveland Cavaliers.Cleveland will have more then four days off, and guard Larry Hughes thinks that might be a little to many days off. "There's nothing like playing in games,'' guard Larry Hughes said. "At this point in the year, two, three, four days (off) is OK. But you get longer than four days and it becomes kind of tough.'' Their is only one playoff game on for tonight, the New Jersey Nets will try and get the chance to meet Cleveland in the next round with a win over the Toronto Raptors, but with a Raptors win they will have a game seven. And in others words the Cavaliers will have more rest.During the Washington Series, swing man Sasha Pavlovic who has improved a lot this season was definitely not himself during the Wizards series. "I didn't play that well in that series against the Wizards, but I'm working hard right now," Pavlovic said. Sasha has been working very hard and is enjoying the time off that he has been getting but is working very hard to get his shot back before the next round starts. Pavlovic was off the mark in Game 4 of the Wizards' series. He was 0-for-4 from the field with no points in 14 minutes. Pavlovic's time and shots were limited because he got into foul trouble early, also_Overall, the Cavaliers look ready to go for the next round in the 2007 NBA Playoffs. Some are just waiting to taste that title gold, some are 12 year vets and are awaiting the shot to reach that goal. "The years go by so fast when you're younger and you feel you're going to the NBA Finals every year," said Snow, a guard for the Cavaliers. "But before you know it, it's 12 years later. I stress to the guys not to take this for granted and not to think it's going to be like this all the time." Guys like Donyell Marshall, and, Zydrunas Ilgauskas have waited a while so they can reach the NBA Finals. Even Scott Pollard wants to win one before he hangs it up. "I'd like to win a ring before I die," Pollard said. "I've been on teams [that were] the favorite to win it all in high school and in college [at Kansas] and we didn't," Pollard said. "We're playing great right now. We've got a good path and we need to take care of business. Hopefully we can get past the next round, get to the conference finals and move on from there."Well, for title the Cavaliers have two rounds they need to get past to even think about a ring. But one thing is for sure, if the Nets win tonight, Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semifinals will be 1 p.m. Sunday at The Q.To reach this Cavs24/7 reporter:MJjordanjordan23@yahoo.com</div>

I'd like to face Toronto over the Nets, not against the Raps but they are a young team and the Cavaliers would have a much better shot at them.
