our qb's have sucked aplenty over the last few years, making me long for the perennial pro-bowl play of....jeff garcia. is there any end in sight to this talent void we have endured?

we thought that Alex Smith would be the one to lead us to respectability again, but no, he was more busted than courtney love.

jt osullivan had a glossy feel until we remembered he is a career 8th stringer.

shawn hill....well....he just plain fucking sucks.

maybe Byron Leftwich? he did alright for the steelers last week in big bens stead, could he be the answer next year? doubt it. his mobility has always been his problem, and our 0-line couldnt block anything except a buffet line.

looking to the draft, we have matt stafford, grahme harrell, and a few others. i would really hate to get the #1 again and draft a mediocre qb, but that looks like the only real chance we might have.

any backups out there that could be plucked away? i thought the texans overpayed for matt schaub, but he is doing great for them this year(still losing though). that might be an alternative route.
