He played his heart out tonight.

    He played 47 minutes.

He scored 36 points, handed out 10 assists, grabbed 6 rebounds... still not enough for you people.

Not clutch? He scored 12 points in the 4th quarter alone. He went 4-8 from the field. He handed out 3 assists, grabbed 2 rebounds, and he kept us in the game.

In overtime, he had 7 points, shot 2-4 from the field. Handed out another assist.

The guy looked exhausted. Unlike Curry, he has been playing the past two weeks. Nothing is ever good enough for you people. If you aren't a fan of Damian Lillard, you aren't a fan of this team. You should seriously reassess why you watch Blazers basketball.

    You know who you are.

I'm glad to have Dame on my team. Sure there may be more talented players than Dame, but when it comes to heart, fight and leadership he brings to the team, not many can top him. I really hope he retires a Blazer, I would be pretty devastated if he left us.

It's been an exhausting night and we were on the wrong end of history. People need to vent.

Logically we are fine, but it's hard not to be extremely dissapointed as a die hard fan of this team. It will pass.

No need to bash Dame. Probably okay to question shot selection on 9-30 shooting but I don't question his heart.

Dame is the Blazers, this guy WILL go down as the unquestionable best player and leader this city will have ever seen.

The haters will hate, that's what THEY do.

This team hung in there with a full Warriors squad in the Playoff. We aren’t making it easy for them. We are making them work for it. I respect that and is all I wanted. I couldn’t be more happy about this team. Whatever happens on Wednesday, this team fought hard every game. Can't ask for more

But Lillard shooting 9-30 and questionable shot selections is why we lost. The role players were actually balling. But hey we played hard and made it interesting

Come on....that was the most positive post out of Tunchi in 'forever'. That last part isn't a dig, it's what happened. Dame didn't shoot well.....he shot well in Game 3. That's just what happened.

He stepped up when it counted, and shot 50% in the 4th and in OT. :dunno:

I don't know how it's even POSSIBLE for you to complain about Dame. He's literally been carrying this team all year. He gets no easy fouls, no days off, no easy buckets..... teams have been physical with him all season long. So if you still need to complain about Dame.....

It's all good tho I was wrong about making the playoffs being bad and getting the pick was better. Granted IF we would make the playoffs I wanted us to play hard and that's what we did. Im glad that part happened.

But one thing I wasn't wrong was about Lillard. GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT leader. No doubt about that. But for the millionth time he is just too inconsistent for my liking. BASKETBALL WISE. As a man, he's a great human being and deserves the credit.

Unfortunately he's back and forth swings of hot nights and trash nights is to unreliable. Aka "feast or famine" couple days ago he was feast, today, famine. High level Mo Williams basically.

Now will he be better? Of course. He gets better every year. BUT THIS YEAR? nah just too feast or famine. Tonight we needed him, all our role players were pretty damn good tonight and stepped up. We could have used an efficient gane from Dame tonight.

To me that is not complaining but just a fairly accurate appraise of what happened tonight. Great leader....can get incredibly hot but also has quite a few sub 40% nights. I'm sure we all hope and believe that will get better. If we can't be reasonable with weaknesses, it's tough to improve.

Do you guys really don't see that he has improved? That he has and will put in the work to get better? That he doesn't have the drive to improve?

It isn't about making a valid point. It's about shitting on the guy while he's giving it everything he's got.

Couldn't have said it better. That's what folks fail to do with Dame. His shot selections are really questionable. If he can clean that up he can really be dangerous. That's the improvement I want to see for next year. But if we can't see that how the hell are we going to get better? I hope dame sees that I guess that's all it matters

No one is saying he hasn't improved....just something to still work on. Barkley called Dame/CJ the 2nd best backcourt in the NBA but said they need to improve their shot selection. Talkin' Ball had the same discussion about the shot selection and about hitting a higher percentage. No one is bagging on Dame at all. But if we go crazy for his performance in Game 3, it seems reasonable to at least talk about 9-30 being something to improve on.

He was missing everything in the first half. Open looks and not open looks. He was just off. It happens.
