Owens? Jealous? Unhappy? Needs more attention? This surprises the hell out of me... Not It's just the beginning. Once the Cowgirls get bounced out of the playoffs in one game like always, it's only going to escalate.
I think the problem lies in how Garrett is using Owens, and not Romo's preference to pass over the middle to Witten. Since the Redskins game people have been using bump-coverage to a great success, and unlike last year we're seeing Garrett move TO around a lot less before the snap to give him some breathing room. As such, the WR's are covered and Romo finds an open man in Witten.
Wait, so in order for the Eagles to make the playoffs, or wildcard, the Cowboys must be out? Damn... They have so much talent on that team, it's kind of hard to envision them not making the postseason. Obviously they won't have any success in the postseason like always, but I'm having a hard envisioning them pulling off THAT big of a chokejob, even with Tony Romo as their quarterback. But damn, if they managed to miss the playoffs all together I wouldn't know what to do with myself. That'd be sooooooooo sweet
Well they'd have to win out and hope for teams who have a better record to falter, despite the fact that the Eagles have a much harder schedule (closing out against Washington and Dallas squads who have something to play for). Actually, they could benefit a lot from New Orleans and Chicago playing to a tie. They're in OT right now (the ref hilariously emphasized the fact that they could, in fact, tie). There's the very real possibility that 3 NFC South teams could make the playoffs and only one NFC East one, which is a damn shame when you think about it.
If Atlanta and Dallas lose this week to teams that are better than them, the Eagles control their own destiny. I would like my chances if I were them.
Well, right now the Cowboys do have the edge in the WC over Atlanta, despite the same record, so I'm hoping Dallas doesn't have a letdown and choke that away. With how this season has gone, I wouldn't be surprised by it though. As for this story...whatever, can't say that I care. If TO was to be an immature prima donna, let him. It's funny though, because he's actually been targeted more on the season by Rom, so I don't know where he's coming from.
If multiple sources are reporting this, than I buy it. If it was one, than not really. Owens really needs to get his fuckin' ego in check. He can't do this to every team that he plays for.
^ its definitely the real deal. Hence why its plastered on espn and they have a subcategory called Cowboys on the bottomline ugh.....
