So while keeping in mind that either side could be bluffing or setting a smoke-screen, shortly after 5pm we could know if the Nets are drafting Danilo Gallinari. Additionally I'd be interested to see what Bill Walker decides to do

If it's just a strain it may not be that big of a deal. A lof of people are assuming the worst due to his past injury.
Gallinari and Walker are the only really noticeable guys that I could see pulling out. Unless Batum wants to try again next year.

I've decided to withdraw from this draft. Please take this as my notice, anyone from the NBA who cares.

I remember someone posting something about it (possibly Bassy) and reading the guy's website, but I can't seem to find the thread.

Why risk being a 2nd rounder and getting a couple hundred grand and not much playing time to get a long term deal. Prove yourself healthy and make the big score and playing time. It's not like he's risking millions at this stage.
Gallinari Staying In Draft Danilo Gallinari has announced, via his website, that he has decided to remain in the NBA Draft. from Realgm I wonder if he got his promise? EDIT: More from DX: http://www.draftexpress.com/article/Early-...t--152ET--2929/ so looks like Lawson pulled out. wasn't really expecting that, but I guess it makes sense. Now its possible that no point guards will go in the first round, outside of the lottery. maybe that helps Marcus' value?

yeah, that surprised me. but didn't he get injured recently? that might be why. plus he skipped his Denver workout.
Also, JJ Hickson officially enters the draft by hiring an agent. One and done, baby. http://www.charlotte.com/hoops/story/671898.html
Noooooooooooooo, Riek! WTF! UNC is going to be insane next year with Lawson, Ellington, Green comgin back with the addition of three more McDonald's AA's.

That team is just going to be ridiculous.
UPDATE: Neither the Nets nor Knicks gave Gallinari a guarantee <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The Knicks and Nets -- the two teams Tellem has been targeting -- got private workouts with Gallinari last week, and both were impressed with his size and shooting ability.
