So while keeping in mind that either side could be bluffing or setting a smoke-screen, shortly after 5pm we could know if the Nets are drafting Danilo Gallinari.

Additionally I'd be interested to see what Bill Walker decides to do

    Or the Knicks.

I also heard he went to LA to workout for the Clips and Grizz.

Bill Walker's going back. No way he could stay in the draft with that injury.

Did the MRI results comeback? Last I heard he hurt his knee and was going to have an MRI. If it's just a strain it may not be that big of a deal. A lof of people are assuming the worst due to his past injury.

Gallinari and Walker are the only really noticeable guys that I could see pulling out. Unless Batum wants to try again next year.

I've decided to withdraw from this draft.

Please take this as my notice, anyone from the NBA who cares.

That reminds me. What ever happened to that "regular joe" kinda guy who entered his name in the draft? I remember someone posting something about it (possibly Bassy) and reading the guy's website, but I can't seem to find the thread.

Thanks. He should go back to school. Why risk being a 2nd rounder and getting a couple hundred grand and not much playing time to get a long term deal.

Prove yourself healthy and make the big score and playing time. It's not like he's risking millions at this stage.

    Gallinari Staying In Draft

Danilo Gallinari has announced, via his website, that he has decided to remain in the NBA Draft.

    from Realgm

I wonder if he got his promise?

    EDIT: More from DX: http://www.draftexpress.com/article/Early-...t--152ET--2929/

so looks like Lawson pulled out. wasn't really expecting that, but I guess it makes sense. Now its possible that no point guards will go in the first round, outside of the lottery. maybe that helps Marcus' value?

Well, he was already staying anyway. That team is just going to be ridiculous.

UPDATE: Neither the Nets nor Knicks gave Gallinari a guarantee

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The Knicks and Nets -- the two teams Tellem has been targeting -- got private workouts with Gallinari last week, and both were impressed with his size and shooting ability. But as of Sunday, two sources, one close to each team, said they told Tellem they were not willing to commit to drafting him.</div>
