New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady participated in the team's Sunday morning walk-through and was wearing white athletic tape around the index and middle fingers on his right throwing hand. Brady went through the entire full-pads practice later in the day without his fingers taped. Brady's status was not a concern to coach Bill Belichick, who after his morning news conference said Brady would be fine. During the news conference, Belichick joked that whatever happened to Brady's fingers -- which might have made contact with a Saints player's helmet during Thursday night's exhibition game -- was not "life-threatening."
