...y'all gonna watch? ...I already posted my first rounders and my preferences...anybody else got anything?
I will be watching but don't follow the colleges and hs players like I do in football. Hope we draft some position players up top preferably shortstops that are actually good and can be up here in 2 to 3 years
...the first round I will definitely watch...I'd love to see the Yanx trade up and somehow get Dansby Swanson (yeah, I know, I know)...I like Brady Aiken, Dillon Tate, and Ian Happ too.
I'd give both my nuts to see Swanson as a Yank, but would gladly (maybe) would settle for Bregman, since Swanson IMO will be one of the very 1st taken......Tate would be a nice pick,Brendon Rodgers, Carson Fulmer, and/or Kyle Tucker. I'd like to see more out of Kolby Allard also, a fine southpaw SP..... Any of your picks would be just fine. Ever applied for the Scouting Director or Farm Director???? ... for the Yanks of course.......
James Kaprelian RHP Yankees 1st Round pick...... rated lower than some other top pitchers.. May get to the majors faster. Fast ball only 89 -92 mph.
The best potential hitters were already taken in the top ten picks. Who do the Yankees take with the 30th pick? for Robertson to CWS. An infielder hopefully not of the Cito Culver level.
Karprelian fastball is 89-91 and occasionally gets it up to 93. throws 4 pitches. Potential according to the experts is a #3 pitcher. Sounds like a joe blanton clone. Really?? This is the best they could do with the 16th pick. Another cashman head shaker. Can't wait to see if the 30th pick is the cousin of the albany 1st rd shortstop we took years ago thats working as a bartender now.
There is a reason why St. Louis Cardinals are good year in and year out. Nick Plummer, a lefty power hitter, sure would have looked good at Yankee Stadium.
They say because of his very good command of the fastball he could be in the majors in a couple years. One of the MLB Network guys said he reminds him of In Kennedy.
