I am interested in seeing what that front court can do when they are both 100% and such.

Andris was a 15/12 guy at the beginning of the season (in November), when he was one fire. Anthony Randolph was a 15/10 guy at the end of the season (last month of the season, but at 8 games is that really a good sample size?). Putting these stats together, I expect these numbers from this front court next year:

    OFF

    DEF

    REB

    APG

    SPG

    BPG

    PPG
    4.8 7.4 12.2 2.2 1.3 1.7 15.6 Biedrins (November 2008 stats consisting of 15 games at roughly 34mpg)

    2.8 5.6 8.4 1.2 1.0 1.6 11.3 Randolph (Last 23 games stats at 26mpg)

    7.6 13.0 20.6 3.4 2.3 3.3 26.9 Total for next year (maybe, maybe not?)

When Randolph develops a shot to his arsenal, he's going to be so good. I hope he stays around Anthony Morrow or at least Kelenna Azubuike the whole summer/offseason.

What do you all think of this front court duo?

I want a strong return of Brandan Wright too. But he sometimes makes Pau Gasol look like Shaq! He's got to start fighting for defensive boards and get some strength. His offensive rebound/defensive rebound ratio is not very good, especially since his rebounding total is kind of low. Not that I don't like offensive boards. But I'd like to see him get more on the defensive end.

Lawson/Ellis/Randolph/Wright/Biedrins. That would be an intriguing lineup to see at least once, especially if Randolph developed some range on his shot. Sliding down Randolph to the 4 and Morrow to the 3 would be another intriguing roster to throw out there on the court. The second thing that bugged me last year after the rebounding was how poor this team ran the fast break. I think these lineups could do it very well.

I am just going all over the place in this post - but it will be very interesting to see which direction the front office decides to go this offseason. The ball is in their court. There are so many options.
