Tony Schumacher raced to the No. 1 qualifying position in Top Fuel at the AAA Texas NHRA Fall Nationals on Saturday. Schumacher claimed his sixth No. 1 of the season and 67th of his career by powering to a 3.863-second run at 319.07 mph in his dragster. The seven-time Top Fuel world champ, who has five wins at the all-concrete drag strip including the past two seasons, will try to earn his first victory of the year when he meets Scott Palmer in Sunday's first round of eliminations.
