    Top 10 in league

I'm new here and thought I'd start a thread, so my thread is going to be top 10 in the league right now (sorry for the boringness, but I feel it will help me get to know you all better)

    Mine would be

    1. Shaq (assuming he comes in shape this year)
    2. Duncan (most dominant last year for sure)
    3. T-mac (carries a team all by himself)
4 Kobe (hope everything works out for him)
    5. Garnett (Still young, would like to see him average a triple double for a season or half a season)
6 Dirk (the sky is the limit for this young man, could become top 5 by next season)
7 Paul Pierce (Antoine Walker is standing in his way of being GREAT)
    8. Jason Kidd ( he isn't getting any younger)
    9. Iverson ( little guy mixes it up)
    10. Steve Nash (The mavs are the most exciting team to me, what can I say?)

PS. My name is Stefen and I have been a lurker for awhile - Nice to meet you all!

    1. Kevin Garnett
    2. Tim Duncan
    3. Shaq
    4. T-Mac or Kobe
    5. Who ever wasn't picked for #4
    6. Jason Kidd
    7. Jermain O'Neal
    8. Allen Iverson
    9. Drik Novitzki
    10. Chris Webber

I had trouble with everything after #5

    what's up stefan !?! welcome

pretty fair list, i would probably put KG a lot higher, possibly #2 and definately no further than #3.

i also would argue Nash is, too high up, I'm sure you are a big fan of him, but I would never put him in my top 10.

I'm sure you will get a lot of smack for that one, so be ready to defend!

    Welcome Stefen

I like your list except Shape is right KG should be higher. Also i don't like your comment on pierce, I don't think walker hurts him at all, he only helps him.

bc. I'm just a walker detractor, I don't feel hes an allstar calibre player. All the celtics games I've seen he has never brought his game. Pierce is always bringing his game (at least in the games I've seen) But also I haven't seen enough celtics games so I may be ignorant to the fact.

I know what you mean sometimes Walker will be the best on the court other times he will suck it up. But there's one game that sticks out in my memory, Celtics-76ers, in the playoffs last year. Walker hit at least 6 three's in the quarter an singlehandedly kept them in the game.

My fav team right now is probably the mavs, cause I really like their core of players. But my all time fave has to be the celtics (sorry if that offends anyone [IMG])) but mostly I'm just a fan of basketball, there are no teams I hate thats for sure.

Steve Nash definately isn't top 10. Stephon Marbury, Gary Payton, Steve Francis, they are all better players and PGs.

    1. Shaq
    2. Duncan
    3. Kobe
    4. Garnett
    5. McGrady
    6. Dirk
    7. Allen Iverson
    8. Jason Kidd
    9. Paul Pierce
    10. Stephon Marbury

This will change. If Vince Carter is healthy he is a top 10 player.

    mine:

    1. Shaq (most dominant player ever!)
    2. Tim Duncan (Mr. Fundamental...helps draw double teams and wins championshiips)
    3. Jason Kidd (led Nets from one of the worst to best in the east for 2seasons)
    4. Kevin Garnett (could take Wolves to the playoofs with basically no help)
    5. Kobe Bryant (great all around game)
    6. Tracy McGrady (takes his team to the playoffs single handedly)
    7. Allen Iverson (little guy plays big)
    8. Gary Payton (great stats, great defense but still underrated)
    9. Dirk (lack of D but his offense is too strong to keep him off the list)
    10. Michael Jordan (even if he were to play next season i still think he would be really good. he was able to hold up for 82 games last season being 40 years old and he only gets smarter.)
