Hasselbeck has been inconsistent, but his recievers drop everything. It is not like i hear people talking about how is one of the top QBs in the game. Duce staley isnt overrated. You say he has no pro bowls, if he was overrated, he would have been to the pro bowl Byron leftwich has been in the league for 2 years now, i guess it is time to proclaim him a bust. Yes, he is getting better each year, but lets bail on him now. Pennington. The jets are completely different team with him at helm. They dominate. He has only started 2 years worth of games and has 53 tds? That works out to about 26 tds a year if he starts 16, so when he has played he has played great. Bubba Franks? I have never onece heard anyone metion him as one the great TEs in the league. How can you be overrated when you are on no ones radar?
I am just saying that I dont think those players are as good as everyone proclaims them to be. Just my opinion. I almost put Brian Urlacher on there just to spite you BF1.

I just dont think people proclaim most of those players as all that good, except leftwich who you havent given much of a chance
You argue that Urlacher is overrated easily. Since Ted Washington left he has not been the same player. He cannot get off of blocks, and his production has gone down consistently, and he's been injured too much. He's a good player, but he's not worth the almost $60 million the Bears are paying him.
Mike Vick should be there, till he proves he can throw the ball better and not take off on a run after standing in the pocket for a split second.

Also Morgan and Leftwich are still very young and have plenty ahead to prove you cant overrate Byron Leftwich I dont think he has even played 20 games to be either under or over.
Mike Vick is overpaid, not overrated. He's a good player, that still has a lot to learn about his position. It's the Falcons fault that they threw that much money at him. There is no way in hell he should be in top 2 highest paid QB's, top 10 maybe.
Vick is overrated AND overpaid. He's the NFL's darling QB of the next generation. They're trying to make him a star and make him the new face of the NFL so that what happened to the NBA after all the "greats" retired doesn't happen to the NFL. Him making the Pro Bowl last year over Favre was a HUGE joke! But a prime example of what I'm talking about...

Look i think hes over payed but he gets wins as GF1 said and last year the packers couldnt get through the first round playoffs.
When it comes to Vick, I keep thinking that if he were to play for the Ravens; he would be a definite upgrade from a pocket QB like Boller. Sure Vick may put his WRs at risk of a career low stats but it's the new generation of football. Vick is unique. In a couple of years, more QBs will look for a scrambling QB who can run away from the linemen and toss one deep and expect the WRs to do their job and catch it. Heck, I even do it; even in Madden! But now they are going to make that the poor choice to make.

I think the main reason why Favre didnt make it, is cause fans are tired of voting him in, and he always has a reason not to play.
Vick is overhyped. Honestly, he is still a season or 2 away from being overrated. My only disagreement w/ the initial list is that Plummer s/b #1.
Vick is the most overrated player in football, when he can pass for at least 3000 yards give me a call. His running style isn't exactly going to insure him a long career, as he starts to age he is going to need to learn how to oh my gosh...PASS! the ball, and if his current production is any sort of symbol of what is to come then the Falcons are gonna be in trouble sooner than later.
