All great points. Print it out and walk it down to Larry Miller's office.....Since he is the one calling the shots anyway

That looks like seven points to me, not five... and I don't think that most of them are very well thought-out... a player with character issues or injuries issues should be discounted (drafted later) but not discounted entirely (not drafted).

Other than drafting for need, I don't think that the other six are really consistent mistakes; it's easy to cherry pick counter examples for each of them.

Mistake #1 -- Getting fired at the draft and then saying you will conduct the draft anyway

It was okay, but it seems like an artical the guy just wrote off the top of his head without doing any research. The examples he gives are in the majority okay but really stupid in some cases.

    Agreed.

Telfair was not a headache. He just could not play very well.

Knocking us for taking Roy when Sheldon Williams was taken before him seems pretty silly.

Bender should be knocked for injuries, not drafting potential over production.

Any team that drafts Biyombo is going to be happy. He is a beast!

I believe we can accomplish more packing the picks some way with a player to acquire a player that can immediately help. I am realistic and know we won't get a star, but look at all we had to give up to get G Wallace. It can be done. Just not a fan of drafting more projects, that's all. Back off FAMS! And never question my knowledge in an open forum, I will crush you!

It is the #8 mistake to list HCP as the #6 mistake instead of the #1 mistake.
