How do people put howard over bosh? he didn't even make the allstar over bosh. howard is great no doubt, but he's too one sided right now. he's really only about the rebounds. bosh is already almost a complete player, no one his size since kg has had the moves and atleticism of him. He attacks the rim, has post up moves and has a great mid-range shot.

    1)Amare
    2)Bosh
    3)Howard

Bogut will be a center for us down the road, guys; he's just playing mostly the 4 now because we have Magloire. Eventually, I'm sure Bogut will find himself at the pivot. So...

    1. Amare
    2. Dwight
    3. Bosh
    4. Emeka
    5. Channing Frye

If I was drafting a PF here would be my order.

    1. Dwight Howard
    2. Chris Bosh
    3. Amare Stoudemire
    4. Tyson Chandler(Hes under 24 right?)
    5. Emeka Okafor

When Amare returns I highly doubt he will be as good as he was last season. Look at Penny Hardaway before and after his injury(The same one Amare currently has). Amare would be a really rishky move. I would take Dwight Howard over him in a heartbeat. It is really close between Amare and Bosh so don't bash me for taking Bosh ahead of Amare. Emeka would've been 4 if he wasn't so god damn injury prone.

Andrew Bogut is a Center and if it wasn't for Jamal Magloire we would easily see Bogut at the 5. During the majoirty of his career that's wheer he'll be playing.

I seriously don't get how people rank Dwight over Bosh, it's just complete bias. The only thing Dwight has over Bosh is rebounding, plus he didn't even make the all star team.

    1. Bosh
    2. Stoudemire
    3. Howard
    4. Okafor
    5. Villanueva (even though he's playing SF, he's more of a PF)

Chris Bosh is the best ballhandler of the big 3, and his 15-17 footer puts him over Stoudemire in my opinion.

You really can't go wrong with Howard or Bosh. I choose Howard over Bosh and Amare, because of personal preference. I think Dwight Howard's approach to the game is going to be better in the long run because he thinks defense first. Howard also has the physical advantages over Amare and Bosh. He's not only taller, but his frame will allow him to fill out and be a lot stronger than either Bosh or Amare. Reports came out that Howard grew an inch and is 7 feet now, and might not be done growing either. One of the main reasons the Magic selected him over Okafor, was the fact Howard wasn't done growing.

Bosh is far ahead of Howard on the offensive side of the basket, but I think Howard has the potential to be just as effective.

To me it's almost like comparing Duncan or David Robinson to KG. If you're basing it on pure talent, KG is obviously better than Duncan or Robinson. However, if you're basing it on building a championship team you have to go with Duncan or Robinson because it's easier to build a franchise around them.

I dropped Amare to #3 even though he's the most proven solely because of his history with injuries.

    Krstic: 12.7ppg on 49% shooting, 5.6rpg, 1apg, .4spg, .8bpg
    Bogut: 9ppg on 52% shooting, 7.4rpg, 2.1apg, .7spg, 1.1bpg

Bogut is a better defender a vastly superior rebounder. The ONLY statistical category Krstic is better in is scoring.

Add in the fact Bogut is 18 months younger and has one less years experience, gets less court time and actually has competition for his spot.

Bogut is better now and will be better in the future.

I'd have Howard ahead of Bosh.

Their relative value now is similar but i think it's fair to say that Howard's upside is unmatchable.

I'm not surprised by the lack of love for Emeka, given so many have a short memory. Next year he'll be back up there, just a rung below Howard.

I also believe Marvin Williams will one day be considered one of the top two PF's in the game.

Dwight is 2 full seasons younger than Bosh in NBA terms. This year for Howard would be comparable to Bosh's rookie year. (That is when both would be sophmores in college) That's why people take Dwight over Bosh. Bosh is better now, but I think the question is who will be better. Dwight already has the rebounding and defense down and now finally gets a chance on offense. He's still very raw on offense, but it is improving dramatically. Normally players 3rd year(would be junior season) is when they break out, (Bosh's 2nd year, Amare's 3rd, etc) so I fully expect him to break out and have a simlar offensive season that Bosh is having now scoring wise(Bosh will also improve next year and will still be a superior scorer than Dwight, but if you subtract the differences in scoring and add in rebounds, defense, and durability, I think Dwight will be better all around). Also Bosh hasn't been able to play a full season yet(although he only missed 1 last year-I'm not calling him injury prone either), while Dwight has not only played in every game in his NBA career, he has started in every game.

Also Bosh avgs 15.5 shots per game, while Dwight only averages 10.7. Dwight does shoot a higher percentage. Dwight is also ahead of Bosh in steals and blocks on top of rebounds and FG%, while Bosh is higher in pts, assists, FT %.

You can't go wrong with either of them though. Bosh/Dwight is already starting to turn into a rivalry, hopefully since both futures are bright for both franchises they can have some heated playoff matchups in the future.

To be fair, that's because Dwight takes Shaq-type shots within a few feet of the basket whereas Bosh has some range.

True. Dwight's FG% is a little inflated because of his great offensive rebounding skills. He gets the rebound and is right there for an easy layup/dunk. Also Arroyo and even Francis has set him up with easy shots downlow. Dwight has been shooting a couple of midrange shots the last couple of games, so he's working on developing an outside game. I'd honestly rather see him develop his low post game even more(he only really has 2-3 moves) and then develop a jump shot. There's no denying that Bosh is much farther along now, but like I said this year is equivalent to Bosh's rookie year. Was Bosh still farther along in his rookie year than Dwight is now?

That's one of the reasons I prefer Dwight. I want my big man down low in the post dunking and shooting one footers. I don't want him playing away from the basket.
