<div class="quote_poster">Quoting "raptors21":</div><div class="quote_post">no.</div>Oh, I see. This list came from nbadraft.net. They know NOTHING about High School basketball. They can just make rankings based upon NBA potential. I would not rely on them.

Mike Jones is supposed to be a big time baller. He won the High School three point shooting contest.

Here is my top 10 -

#1 - Dwight Howard - This is the obvious choice. Pretty much every publication acknowledges him as the number one (soon to be) High School Senior. Howard is 6-10, and 255 lbs. He goes to High School in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a Power Forward. He is unlikely to go to college, but he will have to consider it. He is projected by most Mock Draft sources (such as nbadraft.net) as the #2 pick in 2004 behind the obvious #1, Emeka Okafor of UConn.

#2 - Josh Smith - Smith is a 6-8, 195 lbs. Small Forward, who is also from the state of Georgia. Smith may go to college or he may go pro, but one thing is for certain, if Smith goes pro then he will most likely be a lottery pick.

#3 - Sebastian Telfair - Most of your remember his name because he was the only Freshman in the Adidas ABCD Camp not to long ago, but since then other names have emerged and Telfair has slipped in most rankings. He is a 6-0, 160 lbs. Point Guard.

#4 - LeMarcus Aldridge - This 6-10, 195 lbs. Center has already committed to the University of Texas. If it weren?t for his small height and weight (for a Center) I would have ranked him over Telfair.

    #5 - Malik Hairston - A 6-6, Small Forward from Detroit, Michigan.

    #6 - Al Jefferson, 6-9, Power Forward
    #7 - Marvin Williams, 6-8, Small Forward
    #8 - Shaun Livingston, 6-6, Point Guard
#9 - Jawann McClellan, 6-6, Shooting Guard (Committed to Arizona)
#10 - Daniel Gibson, 6-2, Point Guard (Committed to Texas)

Well, its adidas ABCD camp, and Telfair was a freshman. This is his 4th year going.

I thought Louis Williams was far ahead as the #1 player in 2005?

The crazy thing, is that Josh Smith and Dwight Howard play for the same AAU team, the Atlanta Celtics.

Scouts start to scout players in grade school. Mark Walker wasn't scouted though. His dad sent the tapes to Reebok and they signed him. I don't care if he doesn't pan out though because the kid can atleast afford to go to college now.
