Deni comes in at #10. There are a few ranked higher than him that I would prefer Deni. However, there are a couple ranked lower that also have a case to be in the top 10. Overall, I think he is a top 10 SF in the NBA https://www.hoopshype.com/story/spo...op-26-small-forwards-for-2025-26/85698289007/
I really don’t think Joe gets enough credit for the Deni trade. We got him for Brogdon and two picks. Brogdon looks like he’s gonna sign for the vet min. Bub Carrington is another short combo guard. The 2029 pick could be good or it could suck. I guess the main thing is whether we can retain Deni.
If Deni (according to hoopshype) is Portland's SF, is Camara their PF? He along with several other players on this list seem more PF then SF to me so I'm curious how they do their designations in this age of positionless Bball. The way I define positions these days is who does the person primarily guard? ...& in Deni's case it's usually the other teams 2nd biggest guy. Really this rates a whatever/fodder filler for the offseason STOMP
