Wait...are we going by players that played for the same franchise here? That is what is seems like from your post pinoyballa.
I think he's talking about players that would have been paired up with each other if small changes were made. Like how Benard King didn't last very long with Patrick Ewing.
Okay...I know its not old school but....Carmelo Anthony and Pau Gasol(memphis traded away the soon-to-be 2nd overall pick of the 2003 draft for ...Otis Thorpe), and we wouldnt need Darko cause we had Pau and Stro...so we wouldve defiently drafted Melo...Melo and Pau would be NUTZ!!!
I mean like players that were traded or injured and would have mad a dominant duo. Like autsingrizz said Melo and Gasol

Charles Barkley and John Stockton. Philadelphia had two picks in the 84 draft, at 5 they took Barkley, and at 10 they took Leon Wood(who's now one of the crappies referees in the NBA, and was an even worse player), six picks after the Sixers took Wood the Jazz took Stockton.Image:Moses MaloneCharles BarkleyJulius ErvingAndrew TonyMo Cheeks and off the benchBobby Jones, John Stockton, Sedale Threatt, and Clint Richards. that team would have repeated as champions.
^ that likely wouldn't have happened because had the Sonics kept Pippen they never would have sucked bad enough to draft Gary Payton, thus they couldn't have traded Payton for Allen.oh and speaking of Allen, how bout Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett? Allen was drafted by the T-wolves than traded for Marbury.
