Mike Porcaro, the longtime bassist for Californian rock mainstays Toto, passed away in his sleep overnight (AEST) following a lengthy battle with motor neurone disease, variably known as Lou Gehrig's disease and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), it has been confirmed.
