IF we play hard and IF we don't slack off like we've been doing for the past month, I can see us going 3-1. New Orleans doesn't scare me, we blew them out earlier on in the season. Houston's playing great, but we're the better team. Dallas is Dallas, they'll put up a fight, but at the end of the day, we're still better. And Utah is a tough team at home, but they have been struggling lately. In summary, these are all winnable games, but if we continue to play sluggish defense, we will probably lose all of them

The Lakers are schizophrenic right now but not inconsistent over such a long timespan.
At best 3-1 at worst 2-2, I think Gasol needs to get more physical and demand the ball more there not giving him many touches. The only game we might have to fear is Houston were better but still they have won 20 in the row.
L (thanks Kobe, Hornets = weak SGs, but VERY CLOSE GAME, no Gasol) undecided L (read what I said in that Heat vs LAL thread about Dallas, I was spot on) L (Kobe will go off, but I believe the Jazz have the upperhand at home) The Lakers still have to prove they can get past the first round. Until then, like the Rockets, they can't be considered contenders. You can't have it both ways.
