Free agent guard Toure Murry remains in discussions with the New York Knicks and will make two visits with other NBA teams within the next week in hopes of deciding on a deal, his agent told RealGM.

“We are expecting him to have all the information he needs to make a decision next week,” agent Bernie Lee said.

Murry intrigued the Knicks in last month’s summer league, averaging nearly eight points and three assists, and appears poised to make the leap from a champion in the D-League to an NBA roster. Despite the signing of Beno Udrih, New York has maintained interest in Murry, but another organization could give the 23-year-old a regular season deal.

After four seasons at Wichita State, Murry went undrafted in 2012, playing for the Los Angeles Lakers’ summer league team last year before winning the D-League title with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.

At 6-foot-5, Murry provides size at point guard and has impressed with his quickness and playmaking.
