The trade deadline is almost here, will the A's or Giants make any moves? The A's need another bat, maybe Jeff Kent?
I dunno. The Giants need a closer. The A's need hitting definitely. I'm suprised Kotsay has done this well. Maybe he was worth the trade for Ramon Hernandez. I dunno I'm still skeptical of the A's ownership like I am with the Warriors, but I love the A's brand commercials and I love Billy Beane.
Billy Beane is my hero. I have his draft year baseball card, he was drafted by the Dodgers in the first round. I always wished I could get it signed, though, haha. Kent might be too expensive for the A's, my thoughts are that they are going to either stay put, or target some prospects. My thoughts are that they might target another pitcher or bring up someone from the Cats soon with all the random injuries to the staff. Redman is probably available to other teams as well.
Well the way the A's are playing right now I wouldn't make a move. I would say our only real weakness is at second base and Scurturo has been playing well, especially defensively.
