Trade LA-zy, along with expiring contracts of Blake (who we don't need) and expiring contract of Outlaw - and bring in Bosh now!

He, along with Roy will take us to the promise land. With a healthy Oden and cast - we'd be tough to beat.

Bosh for LA/Blake/Outlaw = tradechecker approved

Wouldn't Bosh just leave after this season?

we'd have to get a sign and trade....but Bosh could do better....in free agency.

I agree, LMA is an A grade wuss.
He used to be one of my favorite Blazers, but his effort on the court(or lack thereof) makes me want to hurl.

That guy has the talent to be a top 3 PF in the league and on most nights seems to be thinking about anything other than basketball. (what suit he's going to wear maybe?)
No intensity, no desire to man-up and physically commit. Runs like he's worried about how he looks.
    Very disappointing.

Dunno, maybe his pockets are weighing him down with all of Paul Allens cash stuffed in them??

It wouldn't have been a bad idea to have him play this year without an extension. That way he'd at least be motivated by his next contract. Now that's done, what's his motivation?

Can't do a sign and trade now. Can't even start negotiating one until July1.

If we did get Bosh before the trade deadline (unlikely), we'd hold his Bird rights. So no, he couldn't do better in free agency.

no they couldn't. nobody is going to give up their top players for what might be a rent-a-bosh. if they think he isn't re-signing and we offered aldridge + expiring
    they would grab it instantly.

Fuck. LA is not lazy or soft. Why can't some of you see this? The team has been structured around Brandon Roy. The more you spread the floor the more room he has to operate. You bring your fours away from the basket and this happens. Consequently, you do this and your four gives up offensive rebounds. Three things are happening. This is happening more and more, and in turn, his offensive rebounding numbers are at an all-time low. He's also been playing through injuries. His inclusion in the offense has taken a hit with the addition of other offenders - taking almost two less FGA per game.

But, guess what. His defensive rebounding percentages are at an all-time high, up to 19.3! His assist percentage are at an all-time high at 9.6. And, his best attribute, which so many ignore, is his defensive effort. His defensive rating is down to an all-time high (low) of 106! For me Aldridge is one of the best big man defenders. He's very underrated in this regard. He can guard any position with regularity and success. His versatility will be SSSSSOOOOO important in years to come and the very reason why we win a championship.

I'll be extremely pissed if we move him for any player that isn't a member of the elite. Last year, I'd be all for moving LA for Bosh. Now, I wouldn't. You just can't replace the chemistry that LA has with this club. Bosh is superior, but less so, when you factor in LA's defense. I don't like it.

I want to win (or lose) with our guys.

I think the player that can save our season is Brendan Haywood.

    thanks for this informaiton!

I am totally finding LA to be a grade A wuss! (And you don't change this characteristic! - especially after he's been signed to a long term contract)

So if we can obtain Bosh - and hold his Brid Rights - then we can match whatever he's offered...or we can do a sign and trade with another team for another player.

In either instance - we'd have an upgrade over LA.

This would also leverage the expiring contracts of both Blake and Outlaw! Otherwise, we'll probably get nothing for these players!

To sweeten our pot, I'd like to get Bosh and a nice draft pick from Toronto for our package of LA/Blake/Outlaw - and then I'd feel all the better - but just watch highlights of Bosh at work. That guy as intensity! You put him next to Oden and Bosh becomes the NBA's premier "enforcer" - not to mention the guy already has 27 (count them - 27!) double-doubles this season!!

Bosh is what this team needs over any other scenario!

    LA is LA-ZY my friend!

The guy has a continual grin on his face - never a serious scowl - and he has no intensity.

this has nothing to do with his twisted ankle

    This is his game.

A PF needs to be aggressive. A rebounder (come on - look at LA's rebounding stats - piss poor for a PF)

    Move him NOW!

    GET BOSH

:biglaugh: I'm sorry - you said "LA's Defense?"

He's the first to cherry pick and beat everyone down the court on offense....

but look who's always one of the last players down the court on transition defense! And NO, this is NOT because he's down under the boards battling for offensive rebounds!

Shoot, Cunningham is a far better rebounder than LA.... and LA get's burned by his man half the time!

if Toronto would grab this instantly - then KP needs to get on the phone with BC!

Get TO's number 1 draft pick to sweeten the deal, if need be - but get rid of LA! (that's my first goal) - but get something excellent in return - get "what we truly need most: an aggressive Power Forward"

    Miller
    Roy
    Batum
    Bosh
    Oden

    Championship starting five

bench of: Bayless (Mills) + Rudy + Webster (Cunningham) + Pendergraph (Howard) + Pryzbilla (draft pick)

    We'll win it all.
