Could Draymond be on the way out after this? https://www.tmz.com/2022/10/07/dray...-jordan-poole-practice-golden-state-warriors/ Hart, Winslow and Little for Draymond? I think Dame was wanting to get Draymond in the past.
They know that trading Draymond would instantly close their championship window. This will blow over - there's no way they're unloading him until Steph Curry retires.
You sure the Warriors aren't trying to create a situation (by leaking the video) to have to trade Draymond. They might be at a point they want to get rid of him and now have the optics/likely fan support to trade him, unlike before.
Pretty sure that doesn't work because of the hard cap. It would have to be something like Simons + Winslow for Dray, and we can only move Ant after Jan 15.
No....given their ages and cost Hart and Winslow are more valuable to the team than a volatile Draymond Green who's getting older and is expensive
I posted this in the other thread, but since I believe it to be true I am posting it again: I was listening to NBA radio yesterday and the topic was Draymond. Eddie Johnson was essentially laughing at people who think what Green does for GS would translate to other teams if he was traded. His argument was compelling. Not saying he would be horrible as a Blazer, but he would not be near as effective on another team. He is not worth trading 3 guys for.
Trading for Draymond would be incredibly risky for virtually any team. We've seen Green is willing to check-out if things aren't pointing in a championship direction. He would not make Portland good enough to be a contender, and therefore I believe giving up any real value for him would be an unwise move.
I love the idea of Draymond (strong defender, winner, playmaker), and dig how close he is to Dame. But he's just too much drama, especially on a team with impressionable youngins. And his current contract makes him almost impossible to acquire given our cap situation (without giving up our main guys). Look elsewhere.
All I see in that video was that Poole looks like he's talking shit, Draymond got into his face, and Poole shoved him. Draymond shouldn't have hit him, but we can't hear what Poole is saying. It's very clear that Poole is talking shit.
I mean.... that doesn't jive with the video at all. It's missing some steps. That makes it out like Poole didn't shove him. That account makes it sound like Poole told him he wasn't invited over to his house and then Draymond started swinging.
I just don't buy it. Chris Haynes is getting a bunch of shit for being Clutch's mouth piece on this... I think there's a lot of people using the media right now. Should Green have punched him? No. But I also don't think Poole is an innocent victim in this.
There no way that this was about a joke. Besides that what B-Roy just posted, it was such a dorky pun related reference, it didn't make much sense.
