This was rumored by the NY Post, I believe, which is like the Enquirer tabloid. Still, I would be interested to see what the overall package looks like. A 1 for 1 swap of Monta for Jefferson would not be fair market value for GS right now, IMO. Although I am definitely all for trying to get Al Jefferson. If they threw in Corey Brewer, and we gave back like Charlie Bell... now we're talking!

However, if Monta were to go to NY, why wouldn't the Warriors just take Lee directly instead of going 3-way with Minny? I know Lee would clog up the PF spot, where Jeff could play C, so that's the only reasoning I see. Because otherwise, Lee is a better player than Jeff IMO, so it's a better value for GS. But I guess if Lee can't play C, then we are awfully jammed at PF with Wright/Randolph/Udoh already.

    Let's do Monta+Bell for Jefferson+Brewer!

Lee, maybe okay; but that contract is going to be a dead weight on any other potential deals.

Jefferson? Absolutely not. Nice post scorer but that's it, cannot rebound in traffic. very slow.
