[IMG]HAWKS ALSO RECEIVE: 2007 1st ROUND PICK (8th Overall) CHARLOTTE ALSO RECEIVE: 2007 1st ROUND PICK (11th Overall)Why?: I would like to grab Mike Conley at #3, because without a PG your team is screwed pretty much. At number 8, we'll be ahead of the Bulls so we can grab Hawes or Jianlian, whichever one is there. Bringing in Brevin Knight would really benefit Conley because of his expierience and his true PG talent, plus he brings excellent defense. Anthony Johnson is an awful shooter, and I have no faith in him being the vet to guide our young PG. Josh Childress just adds to the mess at SF, which is his true position. At times last year he was forced to play PG, which.. Charlotte is also in need of another SG/SF to back up Adam Morrison. Lorenzon Wright is just awful, he does nothing productive on the court so Hollins/Harrington for him is a good deal, imo. This trade allows us to get the #1 PG and #2 center in the draft and we add a couple veterans.NEW LINEUP:C: Hawes/Pachulia/HollinsPF: Shelden/Jones/HarringtonSF: Smith/WilliamsSG: Johnson/StoudamirePG: Conley/Knight/LueOption #1: Joe JohnsonOption #2: Josh SmithOption #3: Spencer HawesThe vets will be starting in front of the rookies in the first month or two.. But I think Hawes and Conley could both secure a starting job.I want to hear some opinions :happy0144:

I don't know if Charlotte accepts this. They need a big, and all the good bigs will be snatched up quickly. They also have the #22 pick to get themselves a nice young wing like Nick Young, Derrick Byars, Marcus Williams, Rudy Fernandez, etc. To be safe, they should get their big with #8 and pick up their wing at 22. Also, BCB brought up a good point on AIM: Conley would be an excellent pickup for Atlanta at 3, and he fills a big need, but they could safely take Brandan Wright at 3 and then Acie Law at 11. Law will be there at 11 and Brandan Wright has the highest ceiling in this draft, other than Oden/Durant. Atlanta needs a point guard, but they also need a good big man that they can go to offensively. Brandan Wright gives them that, he has All-Star potential, and he can block shots with it.

C: Shelden Williams / Zaza Pachulia
PF: Brandan Wright / Josh Smith / Shelden Williams
SF: Josh Smith / Marvin Williams
SG: Joe Johnson / Josh Childress
PG: Acie Law / Speedy Claxton (when healthy) / AJ-Lue split

I think Atlanta would look good that way, and I think Charlotte would look good adding a guy like Hawes, Yi, or Noah at 8.
