Well lets be serious for a minute some of these deals seem very unlikely, the 4-team deal,hmm... there is know way that the Raptors would ever get Vince Carter in anything that includes them getting Shandon Anderson in return,I heard somewhere else that Mike Finley would go to the Raptors. But that doesnt sell tickets, nor does it make them better as a team. I like Mike Finley but he struggles to create his own shot in a half-court setting, which means he cant be the focall point of a team without alot of other options around him. And Iam pretty sure that the Raptors would want someone who can standout in return for Carter. But if this very unlikely 4-way deal was to go down, it would fill the Knicks needs instantly..

The Knicks would get the rugged dirty work player they need in Dampier. And Iam not a big fan of Walker but he would fill the role of that 2nd option the Knicks would need if Allan continues to struggle to return to form from his injuries/surgries he had last season.

The deal with the Cavs seems somewhat possible,But I dont know Big Z becomes a free Agent next year, and he seems like he has the potrenial to be the next of many thru the years that the Knicks have overpaid to either bring them to NY or keep them in NY. He has good offensive skills, But doesnt play that much defense and the Cavs have questioned his effort level in the past. Kurt Thomas may strugggle from time to time and he does fall in love with the mid-range jumper, but one thing he has given the Knicks thru his 6-years is effort. And I would take that any day of the week over the guy with more offensive skills per say or a guy who has more size. If Z was to give the effort that Thomas gives then thats the only way I see it as much of an upgrade imo.
