"I've looked at a lot of great players and I've seen many players get traded. So, [being traded] is probably going to happen sooner or later, you just never know. Hopefully I can stay in Chicago, but I'll just deal with whatever happens." Bulls general manager John Paxson has done his best to separate fact from fiction when discussing trade possibilities with Gordon and other players. "He did talk to me at one point (regarding the rumored trade for) Paul Pierce," Gordon said. "But, again, he doesn't owe that to me. That's his job--to try to make a better team. But I don't know what to expect." The Celtics' Pierce, a member of the Eastern Conference All-Stars, said Sunday: "I handle the trade rumors by not paying any attention to them. I don't read the papers or listen to the radio. There is nothing I can do about the rumors anyway."</div> <div align="center"> Source</div>
That's good to hear. There's no need for any of these guys to get rattled just because their respective general managers are trying to put together a better team. Basketball is a business. There's no crying in... basketball. Or business. Whatever, you get my point.
