    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Consider that the Sixers:

? Have been talking with Dallas about acquiring Antoine Walker. The Mavericks, though, have no interest in swapping Walker for Glenn Robinson, and the Sixers have even less interest in giving up young center Samuel Dalembert.

? Have had conversations with Indiana about Austin Croshere. But though the Pacers might be willing to move the $26 million-plus remaining on Croshere's contract over the next three seasons, it doesn't appear that they're necessarily inclined to acquire Greg Buckner and Derrick Coleman.

Before pulling the trigger with the Cavaliers on the Snow deal, the Sixers had been talking with Houston. In one scenario, they would have acquired Juwan Howard for delivery to a third team. A year ago, there was the possibility of sending Snow to Orlando in a three-way deal in which they would have acquired Michael Olowokandi from Minnesota.

Olowokandi could remain attractive to the Sixers because, even though his salary is $5 million-plus, he is only signed through 2005-06.

If you had to pin down new Sixers coach Jim O'Brien, based on the current roster, he would look at a projected starting lineup of Allen Iverson, Kenny Thomas, Willie Green, Robinson and a center from among Dalembert, Brian Skinner and Marc Jackson.</div>

Interesting how the teams are pulling back, and whatnot. Let's see though, Billy King is not the most successful GM in the NBA, in fact he is one of the worst ones. With Dallas wanting to trade Walker, they look to New York, to Isiah, who brought Marbury back home. Isiah is a far more superior business man than Billy will ever be. He know how the NBA works, and what each franchise wants. IMO I don't see Walker coming to Philadelphia.

Maybe there is still some kind of possibility on acquiring Candyman, I would love to see him here, anything is better than Ollie, and Brown. However we can't trade those two guys because of the NBA's three month untradable rule. Throw in Robinson, and Buckner/Salmons possibly?

Ronbinson salmons/buckner for the kandi man. That would be a horrible trade if thats what you are suggesting. Kandi man is a guy that can get you about 7 points 6 rebounds on his best nights. While salmons every time he scored double digits the team had a over .500 record and robinson although injured was the teams second leading scorer. No way you give those two up for the kandi man. A trade I would like to see happen is one to get stackhouse back in philly. Possible a glenn robinson to the mavs for him?

No way would the timberwolves give up Kandiman without getting a post player in return. Granted Kandiman is a bum, but he is their only center that they can get legit minutes from right now. Ervin Johnson is in his upper 30's and his minutes were extremely limited last year due to age, so the wolves cant go into next year expecting big minutes from him. Granted if the wolves get Glenn Robinson then Wally will be on the trade block, in seek of a big body. But with Wally's contract you cant be insured that anybody would be willing to give up a big body for him in a trade.

BTW- The Cassell-Big Dog on court relationship has pretty much run its course. Its not like they dont completely like each other but the chemistry between the big 3 in the 2nd half of the 2001-02 season, when the bucks faded from 2nd place during the 1st half of the season to out of the playoffs, was about as bad as it could get chemistry wise. Everyone on the team was acting like little girls- pointing fingers etc. So I doubt Cassell-Robinson will ever work again, chamistry wise. So I doubt the Wolves would be interested in affecting thier chemistry by acquiring someone like Robinson.

The only big men we could afford to give them would be Marc Jackson, or Derrick Coleman. DC is getting older, and fatter, and hasn't done anything in three years. I would offer Brian Skinner along with another player, but since we just acquired him we cannot because of the three month rule.

Sasha you told me yourself that we dont need to bring in another center so why would the you want Kandi he doesnt bring anything besides rebounds and a few blocks plus he is usally injured and has bad knees,so why give up are second leading scorer for him?

Also why would we trade Skinner for him when he puts up better numbers.

I think Marc Jackson is a great player that we should definitely keep, he brings straight toughness to the 76ers. He may of been injured last year but he is a big body who could eventually make a big impact in the NBA.
