This in season tournament is a stupid idea. I doubt it will bring any extra attention to these games. Same fans who watch the normal regular season games will watch these games.
Disagree, if the Blazers win the in-season tournament, it will be almost as big a deal as when we won that one championship in Summer League. I'm ready for the championship parade already! barfo
Go Blazers is to most of us what Go Lakers is to you. It is an expression of team support, no matter how far-fetched it may seem at times.
At the end of the day what does it matter? The games were going to be played anyways. All they’re doing is adding a fancy name to some of the games.
Super excited for these games. We know the Blazers have a near zero chance of making the playin or playoffs. But they do have a chance of winning 4 games. This will go down history as the only first year of the NBA in season tourney ever. It would be great experience for Scoot and Sharpe to get the closest experience to playoff atmosphere possible until hopefully in a few years we can begin to make the real thing.
