Watched some of the game. Clearly Vesey is a man playing against boys. Scored off a tip and almost won it OT. Day has a long way to go. He still has lazy plays. Stromwall was all over the place.

All the games are live on the Red Wings website, which is kind of odd. I turned it on today right before Nieves scored to send it to OT.

Quite a few Rangers forwards are better than these other teams from what I've seen are are NHL ready or close to it. Buchnevich is not close to NHL ready from what I've seen. He has no clue how to play north american hockey. Stromall does and I would be pretty surprised if he didn't make the team at some point this season. Another right handed shot is great as well. Kovac's has looked great as has Vesey. The defenseman are terrible but as I stated on another board, that's not a shock. Rangers have drafted mostly forwards the past 3 years. Easier to find gems at forward without high picks than defenseman. If the morons finally hold onto their picks this year, I expect them to go defense in the first and second rounds.

Today Ranger prospects beat Dallas rookies 5-4 in SO. Players who excelled were Malte Stromwell,
Robin Kovacs. Kids on D need a whole lot of work for improvement. Many of these
players will fill out the Hartford Whalers' roster.
