just kidding, they just got tangled up, with carter hurting his ankle with a minutes left in the game. But he'll be alright. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">"I hit Travis, we ran into each other, got tangled in each other for a minute," Carter said. "That's a scary feeling when you can't feel your fingers. But everything's fine. I'll be ready for tomorrow."</div> On the other side, carter was awesome in the first half, but then slowed down. Kidd somehow had 14 assists in this horrible scoring game for the nets. Taking jumpers seemed to be the only play the nets would run, and only carter and mercer were hitting them. When Mercer is your second best scoring man, it's not good. Credit to Mercer though, for seemingly perfecting his jumper while on the IL. Carter also had an awesome tomahawk dunk from a couple feet in front of the free throw line, over eddie griffin with great elevation and power. Highlight of the game, if not more.
Its pretty much official that Nenad has hit that invisiable rookie wall. He looked done at tip off, gasping for air in the 1st quarter. And Kandiman & KG owned him all night on the boards(and in the paint). The pickup of Uncle Cliffy is coming at the exact right time. Hopefully we can reduce some of the load Nenad is carrying. And he can continue to be produce into the 2nd half by doing so...but at the current pace, I dont know if Nenad going to make it to the finishline of the season. Other then that we just couldnt make a shot to save our life, Vince had his moments. And Ron-Ron got hot in the 4th quarter. But other then that it was just a lacluster performance all around. Missed alot of wide open perimeter shots & let Minny, who isnt a great defensive team this year, off the hook defensively due to our lack of execution. Defensively we where OK but we couldnt handle their frontline. And they arent a running team but they beat us a few times up the court for easy transition baskets. That is probably what will upset Coach frank the most when he reviews the game. We shouldnt have gave up that many easy baskets, I think it was like 26 to 4 edge in the paint for them at one point. We really needed that game tho with Sac-town coming tommorrow.
^ I'm not quite sure because I didn't get to watch the game, but Krstic had 12 rebounds. But i'm guessing that was just off many missed tip-ins. Clarify?

And Krstic missed a bunch of point blank shots from the field, I honestly dont recall him scoring from the field at all, he got to the line a couple times in the 2nd half but that was about it. He had no lift in his game. And you could clearly see signs of fatigue on his face early in the game.
Yeh, Kristic was trying to get into the game, but he just could not. He pulled down a few good rebounds, but most of them were off favorable bounces. I would not be so quick as to say that he has hit the rookie wall (I don't believe in it), I think that he just had a bad game, maybe he just did not get enough sleep or did not eat enough dinner. Either way, I think that he will have a better game vs. Sacramento tonight.

But honestly since the West Coast trip Nenad hasnt been the same, he had a couple good games tho against Denver and San Antonio. But overall his last 10 games hasnt been that impressive. There was rumors during the Boston game a week & a half ago that he complained he couldnt breath. These are all things that come from the fact that he has never played this many minutes over this type of spand of time, thus the rookie Wall.
